Hysteroscopy

•  Removal of the uterus (e.g., for heavy menstrual bleeding not responding to medical management, for large fibroid uterus, for adenomyosis, etc.)

Keyhole surgery offers faster recovery, less postoperative pain, and improved cosmetic outcomes. But laparoscopic procedures are costlier as compared to conventional open surgeries as it uses costlier equipment.

She also performs hysteroscopies for patients with infertility, abnormal periods, polyp, etc. Hysteroscopy provides better visualization of the inside of the uterus and aids in the diagnosis of ailments that might be missed on ultrasonography.
